This guide shows the recommended ARC Raiders audio settings for Audio Radar.
ARC Raiders has quiet looting, sudden fights, machine threats, distant gunfire, and extraction pressure. These settings help Audio Radar focus more on useful game sounds and less on music or extra background audio.

Before starting this guide, PC users should complete the Audio Radar Voicemeeter setup guide first. This helps make sure game audio, voice chat, and Audio Radar are routed correctly.
Follow this guide first: Voicemeeter Setup Guide for Audio Radar
From the ARC Raiders main menu, click the Settings gear in the bottom-right corner.
Go to the Audio tab.
In the Audio section, use these settings:

Use these volume settings as a starting point:

Effects Volume is the most important setting for Audio Radar. This includes many of the gameplay sounds Audio Radar needs, such as footsteps, combat, machines, and nearby movement.
Music and dialogue can add extra activity to the light bars, so we recommend setting them to 0% while tuning Audio Radar.
Scroll down to the Voice Chat section.
Recommended settings:

PC Only: If you use Voicemeeter or VB-Cable to route chat audio separately, set Voice Chat Output Device to CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable).
If you are not using Voicemeeter or VB-Cable, leave Voice Chat Output Device on your headset or system default audio device.
Load into a match and test your settings in different areas.
Try testing while:

Key audio cues to prioritize in ARC Raiders:
Footsteps – Detect nearby players moving, pushing, or flanking.
Enemy Movement – Notice players or threats approaching from the front, side, or rear.
Machines and Drones – Track dangerous robotic enemies and machine movement.
Reloads and Weapon Handling – Spot nearby enemies who may be vulnerable.
Close-Range Gunfire – Identify where nearby fights are happening.
Distant Combat – Notice the direction of fights before moving into an area.
Extraction Cues – Watch for important sounds near extraction points and high-risk areas.
If Audio Radar is too active, lower sensitivity and make sure Music During Gameplay is off.
If Audio Radar is not reacting enough, make sure Master Volume and Effects Volume are set to 100%.
If voice chat is causing extra light activity, lower voice chat volume or route voice chat separately with Voicemeeter or VB-Cable.
For the cleanest setup, keep music and dialogue low while testing, then adjust them later if you prefer.
