Audio Radar Issue: Why Does My Screen Stay or Flash Black?
If your screen is staying black or flashing, the issue is most likely related to HDMI cables or incorrect connections, rather than the Audio Radar unit itself.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Check HDMI Connections
- Ensure that HDMI cables are inserted into the correct input and output ports.
- HDMI OUT from your gaming device (PC, Xbox, or PS5) → HDMI IN on the Audio Radar Command Center.
- HDMI OUT from the Audio Radar Command Center → HDMI IN on your TV or Monitor.
*If the cables are reversed, this will result in a black screen with no signal.
For step-by-step guidance, refer to the correct setup guide for your system:
- PC Setup Guide | Display (HDMI or Displayport)
- Xbox Setup Guide
- PlayStation Setup Guide
2. Use High-Quality HDMI Cables
- Faulty or low-quality HDMI cables are the most common cause of a black or flickering screen.
- We recommend using HDMI 2.1 certified cables to ensure stable performance and compatibility.
- For recommended cables, see: What Do I Need?
