This guide shows the recommended Battlefield 6 audio settings for Audio Radar.
Battlefield 6 has large maps, vehicles, aircraft, explosions, squad fights, destruction, and long-range gunfire. These settings help Audio Radar focus on useful gameplay sounds while reducing extra light activity from music, voice-over, and UI sounds.

Before starting this guide, PC users should complete the Audio Radar Voicemeeter setup guide first. This helps make sure game audio, voice chat, and Audio Radar are routed correctly.
Follow this guide first: Voicemeeter Setup Guide for Audio Radar
From the Battlefield 6 main menu, click the Settings gear at the top-right of the screen.
Go to the Audio section.
Master Volume: 100
Sound Effects Volume: 100
Music Volume: 0
Menu Music Volume: 0
Commander VO Volume: 0
Soldier and Campaign VO: 0
UI SFX Volume: 0
Hit Indicator: Off
Scroll down to Configuration.
Use these settings:
Sound System: 7.1 Surround
Audio Mix: Default Mix
Audio in Background: On
Set Sound System to 7.1 Surround so Audio Radar can receive better directional audio from the game.

Keep Audio Mix on Default Mix unless you are testing a different sound profile.
Scroll down to the Voice Chat section.
Recommended settings:
Enable Voice Chat: On
Voice Chat Volume: 100
Voice Chat Ducking: 25
Microphone Mode: Push To Talk
Input Device: Default, or your headset microphone

PC Only: If you use Voicemeeter or VB-Cable to route chat audio separately, turn Use External Output on and set Output Device to CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable).
If you are not using Voicemeeter or VB-Cable, leave voice chat output on your headset or system default audio device.
In the lower Audio settings, check the Accessibility and Music Radios sections.
Recommended settings:
Stereo Balance: 0
Tinnitus SFX Volume: 0
Enable Radio Music: Off

Keep Stereo Balance centered so left and right audio stay balanced.
Turn off radio music to reduce extra light activity from vehicles or background music.
Load into a match, training area, or low-pressure game mode and test your settings.
Try testing while:
Moving through buildings
Holding an objective
Fighting near vehicles
Hearing aircraft fly over
Standing near explosions or destruction
Listening for footsteps during quieter moments
Watch how Audio Radar reacts and adjust sensitivity until nearby threats are easier to notice.
Key audio cues to prioritize in Battlefield 6:
Footsteps in Buildings – Detect nearby enemies pushing, flanking, or moving between rooms.
Vehicles – Notice tanks, trucks, and other vehicles approaching your position.
Aircraft – Track helicopters, jets, and other air threats by direction.
Explosions by Direction – See where grenades, rockets, artillery, and destruction are coming from.
Revives and Squad Movement – Notice nearby team or enemy activity around downed players and objectives.
Objective Cues – Track important sounds around capture points and active fights.
Close-Range Gunfire – Identify where nearby fights are happening.
Distant Combat – Notice the direction of larger fights before moving into an area.
If Audio Radar is too active, lower sensitivity and make sure music, radio music, UI SFX, and voice-over volumes are reduced.
If Audio Radar is not reacting enough, make sure Master Volume and Sound Effects Volume are set to 100.
If directional audio does not look right, make sure Sound System is set to 7.1 Surround.
If voice chat causes extra light activity, lower voice chat volume or route voice chat separately with Voicemeeter or VB-Cable.
For the cleanest setup, keep music, radio music, UI sounds, and voice-over low while testing, then adjust them later if you prefer.
