Fine-Tune Sensitivity for Tactical Gameplay
- Rainbow Six Siege’s compact maps feature intense firefights and explosions. Set Audio Radar’s sensitivity to low to prevent excessive lightbar activation from background noise.

Pro Tip: Adjust Sensitivity
Use the three-zone sensitivity dials (right side of the Command Center) to control front, side, and rear sound detection, ensuring precise tracking of footsteps, reloads, and enemy movement.
- Reduce sensitivity to filter out gunfire chaos and focus on movement cues.
- Increase sensitivity if playing in stealth-based strategies to detect quiet movements.
Testing & Best Practices
Enter a Match with Friends or a Bot Match:
- Test sound settings in a controlled environment to fine-tune footsteps, reloads, and breach explosions.
Focus on Critical Sounds:
- Key audio cues to prioritize in Rainbow Six Siege:
- Footsteps – Detect enemies moving through hallways or flanking.
- Reload Sounds – Identify when an enemy is vulnerable during reloading.
- C4 & Breaches – Get early visual warning for explosive threats.
Iterate on Settings:
- Adjust sensitivity settings gradually based on experience.
- Identify if some sounds are overpowering others and fine-tune accordingly.
