In this article, we'll guide you through optimizing the in-game settings of Helldivers 2 for use with Audio Radar. We'll cover the preferred audio settings, step-by-step instructions for configuring Audio Radar, and tips for testing and optimizing your setup. Additionally, you'll find best practices and examples of how Audio Radar can enhance your gameplay experience.
Game-Specific Settings
Step 1:
Once in-game, press ESC and navigate to the ‘Options’ Tab.
Step 2:
Select the 'Audio' section.
Step 3:
Turn ‘Music,’ ‘Dialogue,’ and ‘Text to Speech’ down to 0. Turning down Voice Chat is optional, but it will appear on the Audio Radar if activated.
Configuring Audio Radar
Adjust Sensitivity: Due to the busy landscape, we recommend turning down the sensitivity at higher difficulties when the number of enemies is great.
Testing Tips
Dive into a mission: Start by dropping into a mission. Adjust Audio Radar as you play.
Focus on Critical Sounds: You'd want to be aware of a Bile Titan coming out of the ground behind you, or a Charger shaking the earth behind you.
Iterate on Settings: Make incremental changes to your audio settings based on your experience. Notice if certain sounds are too prominent or if others need to be more discernible.
