If all of your Audio Radar light bars are reacting to a sound together, it could be due to one common issue: Mono Audio. We recommend checking System > Sound > Mono Audio and ensure this setting is OFF or disabled. If this setting is ON, it will convert 7.1 surround sound into mono audio, causing all of the light bars to react together. Follow these steps to check and turn it off so that Audio Radar can react to 7.1 surround sound.
Check Mono Audio Settings
For Audio Radar to work correctly with 7.1 surround sound, the Mono Audio setting needs to be turned OFF. Here’s how to check and change this setting:
On Windows:
- Go to Settings.
- Select System.
- Navigate to Mono Audio.
- Ensure that Mono Audio is switched OFF.
If you’ve checked all these settings and the light bars are still activating together, ensure that the unit is not in Customization Mode: How to Save a Preset on Audio Radar.
