PCs typically default to 2.1 stereo sound in their settings, meaning after setting up your Audio Radar, only the top two Light Bars will light up. Changing your settings to 7.1 surround sound ensures you get the most immersive experience for gaming with Audio Radar. Follow these instructions to optimize your Audio Radar setup for full surround sound capability, allowing your device to activate all Light Bars to experience accurate in-game directional cues.
Step 1: Open System Sound Settings and Select Audio Radar
Step 2: Scroll down and select More Sound Settings
Step 3: Under Playback Devices select Audio Radar
If Audio Radar is NOT listed
Look for ‘Invecas’ or the name of the monitor Audio Radar is connected to. If you see either of those options, select from the list and proceed to Step 5.
**This issue will be resolved with the first firmware update, releasing in October 2024.
Step 4: In the lower left corner, select Configure
Step 5: Select 7.1 Surround
Step 6: Select Test. You should see Audio Radar lightbars reacting to each channel test audio.
Step 7: Select Next until complete.
Step 8: That's it! Your PC is now configured for 7.1 Surround Sound.
