Configuring Audio Radar

Adjust Sensitivity: Given the map sizes and game pace, make sure your Audio Radar will pick up on far-away gunshots by raising your sensitivity to the mid-higher ranges. This ensures that your footsteps won't be mistaken for enemies, and far away gunshots will be more easily picked up.

Testing Tips

Just run around: Start by running around in a random server. Adjust the sensitivity until your footsteps are at a low level, and adjust based on other sounds in the environment.

Focus on Critical Sounds: As you play, pay attention to the direction of important sounds like footsteps, distant explosions, gunfire, and events such as cargo ship and supply drops.

Iterate on Settings: Make incremental changes to your audio settings based on your experience. Notice if certain sounds are too prominent or if others need to be more discernible.
