How to Setup Audio Radar with Xbox

Learn how to easily set up and utilize Audio Radar with your Xbox console, enhancing your gaming experience with improved spatial awareness and visual cues.

Experience the full potential of your Xbox with Audio Radar, providing an immersive audio-visual experience! It supports up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 120Hz for top-tier gaming performance. To ensure optimal functionality, make sure you have high-quality 4K-8K HDMI 2.1 cables.

Setup Instructions:

1. Connect Your Devices & Power On

  • Connect your Xbox to the HDMI In port on the Audio Radar Command Center using a high-quality HDMI 2.1 cable.
  • Connect the HDMI Out port from the Command Center to your TV or monitor with another HDMI 2.1 cable.
  • Plug in the Audio Radar Command Center and turn it on. 

2. Update Xbox Audio Settings for 7.1 Surround Sound:

  • Select SettingsGeneralVolume & audio output
  • Under Speaker audio set HDMI audio to 7.1 uncompressed
  • Under Headset audio set Headset format to Stereo uncompressed
  • Under the Advanced section, select Additional Options
    • Ensure Allow passthrough is checked
    • Set Party chat output to Headset
